Originally from Singapore, Jane now lives in Strasbourg, where she shares the rich culinary heritage of Southeast Asia through her catering activity.
Married to a Frenchman and passionate about the cuisine of her roots, she offers a generous, colorful, and flavorful plant-based cuisine inspired by Singapore, Thailand, Korea, and Indonesia.
For this first culinary journey, Jane takes us to Thailand for an immersive experience full of fresh and fragrant notes.

• master the basics of Thai flavor balance
• prepare a fragrant broth with lemongrass and galangal
• roll perfectly tight and tasty spring rolls
• make an extraordinarily aromatic homemade green curry
• cook jasmine rice
• succeed in preparing mango sticky rice, Thailand’s iconic dessert

Kyung Ae from the Miriné Restaurant in Strasbourg

Originally from South Korea, Kyung Ae has built her life in Strasbourg, where she has been sharing her passion for Korean cuisine for several years through her restaurants. A thoughtful and creative chef, she loves playing with harmonies of colors, flavors, and textures to create cuisine that is both authentic and comforting.
For this workshop, Kyung Ae invites you to delve into the world of kimchi, a true symbol of Korean gastronomy. A staple of daily life in Korea, kimchi is much more than a condiment: it is a culinary art passed down from generation to generation, celebrating fermentation and patience...
On the program:
– Chinese cabbage kimchi, prepared using the traditional method, to discover the techniques and secrets of Korean fermentation.
– Kimchi jeon, savory pancakes that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
– Tofu kimchi, a combination of stir-fried tofu and kimchi, both flavorful and comforting.
A convivial and immersive moment, where each dish will tell a piece of Korean culture and the culinary history of Kyung Ae.
